The difference between then and now:
I’ve come a long way from when I started my weight-loss journey. Now, I count calories and macros—or macronutrients like carbs, protein, and fat—every day. I enjoy lifting weights, HIIT (high-intensity interval training), circuit training, group fitness classes such as aerial or pole dancing classes that have elements of cardio work into them.
In 2023—just one year from now—I’ll look back on my life and reminisce about all of these changes for positive reasons. I may even write a 2022 vs 2023: One Year Later post sharing how far I’ve come. Why do we constantly look back with regret while simultaneously looking forward with hope?
What I’ve learned from my weight loss journey:
Everything is hard until you do it for a year. I lost 100 pounds two years ago and had what I thought was success. But now that I’ve kept it off for two years, I realize how much time, discipline, and willpower it takes to stay at a lower weight. When people say they want healthier choices they don’t mean cheat every weekend.
That doesn’t create sustainable habits; it means constantly starting over with your diet or exercise routine once you get back on track. If you want real results, focus on consistency—not self-loathing when you miss your goal one week or eat a cookie before bed (no matter how guilty you feel).
priscilla block weight loss 2022:
She’s one of our new contributors and is documenting her own personal weight loss, making it super relatable for other women who are looking to lose weight. I love that she’s focusing on how you can go about losing weight in a realistic way.
While diets can help you lose some pounds fast, they aren’t always sustainable and often have long-term negative effects on your body (like yo-yo dieting). That’s why Priscilla is recommending a lifestyle change rather than a drastic diet. Plus, there’s nothing more motivating than success stories—so if you follow along with her posts, you just might be inspired to reach your own health goals!
priscilla block height and weight:
People always want to know two things about me: how tall am I and how much do I weigh. In case you’re wondering, I’m 5-foot-6 and my weight has bounced around between 150 and 170 pounds for my entire adult life. After more than twenty years of fighting a losing battle with my scale, I decided it was time for some real change.
If you want to try on a new, slimmer version of yourself for size, here are some tips that can help you achieve your dream body by 2022. Just remember, with any diet or exercise plan: if it sounds too good to be true…you know what they say about pie in the sky!

priscilla block weight loss now:
In recent years, there’s been a trend towards offering medical intervention with gastric bypass surgery. Research has shown that long-term patients who choose gastric bypass surgery lose significantly more weight than those who undergo lap band or stomach staples alone.
However, patients who have undergone bariatric surgery often find it difficult to maintain their new lifestyle and are less successful at maintaining their ideal bodyweight for many years after their procedure.
How does one achieve long-term success without resorting to bariatric surgery? Meet Priscilla Block: an inspiring woman who has proven that taking a well-rounded approach can help you shed pounds permanently and maintain a healthy lifestyle for many years into your future.
